COIMBATORE: Assuring the city a train to Bengaluru soon, the Union minister for railways Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu on Saturday hinted at announcing the train soon. The first was for an overnight train from Coimbatore to Bengaluru, which Prabhu promised to deliver soon. Sam said, "An overnight train from Yeshwanthpur to Coimbatore was introduced some time ago, but, the timings are not passenger-friendly. There is a report suggesting that the train is not required any more. Complaints received through SMS, Facebook, Twitter and emails are more or less addressed within the passenger's journey," said Prabhu.
