ABUAD hospital gets tele-medicine equipment from Dubai firm


Kamarudeen Ogundele, Ado EkitiThe Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti Multi-System Hospital has partnered Aster DM Healthcare of Dubai to deliver quality health care to Nigerians. Aster DM Healthcare of Dubai, on Wednesday, donated multi-million naira tele-medicine equipment to the 400-bed ultra-modern hospital to support it. Aster DM Healthcare said the donation was in appreciation of the selfless milestone achievements of the ABUAD Founder, Afe Babalola (SAN). The Chief Executive Officer of Aster DM Healthcare of Dubai, Dr. Harisha Pillai, said the equipment would help the ABUAD Multi System Hospital to engage in tele-consulting, tele-diagnosis and tele-management. While explaining the benefits of the equipment, Pillai said doctors in Dubai would be able to diagnose a patient at the ABUAD Multi System Hospital and then advise on the appropriate treatment and the right dosage.
