ABS-CBN Corp.’s news segment restored its presence on YouTube channel, a few hours after the online-video sharing platform terminated its accounts. The Lopez-led media giant in a statement released on Tuesday morning said it had been working with YouTube to get back the ABS-CBN News and ANC 24/7 channels. “The investigation on the incident continues as we also implement measures to prevent this from happening again,” ABS-CBN added. The firm was trending anew on Twitter as Filipinos took to social media their frustrations following YouTube’s move despite the need for boosted information dissemination amid the calamity and the coronavirus pandemic. Last July 10, 70 lawmakers voted against its franchise renewal application, which should allow its broadcast and radio operations to continue.|Shares in ABS-CBN fell 16 centavos or 1.43 percent to close at P11.04 each on Tuesday.
