ABC radio host Sabra Lane has fired a parting shot at Australia's politicians as she announced her departure from one of the national broadcaster's flagship shows. Lane, who has fronted Radio National's flagship daily AM program since 2017, made the announcement she was leaving the program on Wednesday. This has been my ninth year hosting the program, but my body is saying 'enough',' Lane began. In August, the radio host reportedly told bosses she would be leaving as she has 'become frustrated with the quality of the program', as reported by The Australian. Lane is expected to take a period of extended leave before returning to a new role with the ABC next year.
