ABB-Egypt, operating in the field of electricity manufacturing tasks, agreed with the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) on allocating 20,000 square metres to establish a new factory for manufacturing electrical transformers in 10th of Ramadan City. He explained that the company is seeking to increase its exports during the coming period and aims to export 50% of the production of the new electric transformer factory. The company aims at expanding its factories with investments worth $10m by the end of this year. He pointed out that the company has land on an area of 10,000 square metres in Nasr City and they collect the products that are being exported. The company owns a workshop for repairing generators in Suez on an area of ​​2,000 square metres.
