Defending Modi government's demonetisation move, Jaitley called it a "watershed moment" in India's history. "We moved towards less cash economy," Jaitley added, calling the anti-black money drive a "moral" and "ethical" drive. Jaitley further said that terror funding was squeezed because of demonetisation and shell companies were easily identified.
