A taste of Korea

The “Annyeonghaseyo Korea” event, which runs from tomorrow through September 23 at the main atrium of the shopping centre on Srinakarin Road also features creative paintings of Korean artists and the chance to listen to love songs from famous TV series. The event will transform the centre of the shopping centre into the shooting locations of seven popular TV series that have now ended, and aim to allow Thais who might not have the opportunity to visit South Korea the chance of admiring the scenery, explains the shopping centre’s Chaiwasut Techapatangura. The event also features “fan art” and a demonstration of this form by Anan Uttalud and Thittita Jarujinda. Songs from K-dramas will be performed by Hunsaluk “Way AF11” Chanpun” this weekend and again on September 22-23. Korean products and traditional food will be on sale, such as Kimbap, Kimchi, Tteokbokki, Eomuk (Korean-style Odeng), pork rice bowl, fried chicken, Korean Churros, Bingsu and Korean ginseng.
