Newsom said runoff could trickle into the Tulare Lake Basin for the next 16 weeks. Newsom said he and other state officials would be meeting with representatives from local groups to determine the best path forward. “We are here in the Tulare lake bed because, as we all are acutely aware, all of that snowmelt, without interruption, ends up right here,” she said.
