When I moved into this locality a decade ago, my quest for a nearby post office ended at this gate. In the last seven years the landscape surrounding the post office has changed unrecognisably. The post office stands sandwiched between two sprawling campuses of an upcoming residential project. It almost implies that the builder, in his magnanimity, has gifted the post office to his beloved customers. I look forward to my next visit because whenever I walk into this post office, it feels surreal, as if civilisation gave it the miss.
