The District Church isn’t D.C.’s only church for young professionals. Kymmie Kester, in stripes center right, leads a prayer during a production huddle before services at the District Church. Congregants help out at other organizations, including mentoring children at the two schools where the District Church holds services on Sundays. Pastor Aaron Graham of the District Church tries to draw in millennials who live and work in the area. But once he was married with two kids (his wife, Amy, is also a pastor with District Church), he decided to focus locally.
