On Wednesday, some 60 people attended a luncheon conference presented jointly by the Réseau d'éclaireurs de Vaudreuil-Soulanges and the Comité logement de Vaudreuil-Soulanges on the theme of the housing crisis in Vaudreuil-Soulanges. The conference enabled participants to gain a better understanding of the housing situation, as well as the housing crisis in Vaudreuil-Soulanges. Guest speakers included Manon Charest, General Manager of the Office régional de l'habitation de Vaudreuil-Soulanges (ORHVS), John Gladu, General Manager of l'Aiguillage, and Émilie Morasse from CISSSMO. "Our organizations are mobilizing all their resources to help people looking for housing or temporary accommodation in Vaudreuil-Soulanges. The housing crisis is hitting already vulnerable people hard, and is currently forcing new people to accept overpriced housing or end up on the streets.
