DHAKA, July 25, 2023 (BSS) – A low pressure has formed over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay and the axis of monsoon trough runs through Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, the center of the low to Assam across southern part of Bangladesh. Monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and moderate elsewhere over North Bay. Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Pabna, Feni and Chuadanga and it may continue, said a met office forecast for the next 24 hours begins 9am today. Country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded by 37.5 degree celsius at Rajshahi and minimum temperature today was recorded by 24.5 degree celsius at Bandarban. Country's maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded by 36 millimeters (mm) at Tetulia.
