For this Nostalgia edition we will be taking you all the way back to the 1980s. We are now around forty years on from this time and a lot has changed in Cumbria and the rest of the world. The 1980s was the decade when Ronald Reagan was elected as president of the United States and Lady Diana Spencer and now King Charles were married. Our first photo shows Wigton church flower festival in 1980 whilst the second photo shows Carlisle ambulance workers doing a sponsored run in 1981. The final photos show Carlisle United player Scott McGarvey at Brunton Park, Carlisle and a Wigton play group cycle ride.
