When a fire broke out in Old Town’s Nimtoli in 2010, killing more than a 120 people in the process, we should have learned our lesson. Why does the industry continue to boast a complete lack of safety standards? Why are the people in charge of these chemicals allowed to put innocent lives at risk with such absolutely impunity? It is time to act and prevent such a tragedy from taking place ever again.
