Renovation and Landscaping Ltd, to New Plymouth District Court following complaints of house work. A New Plymouth builder has been fined for illegally carrying out work without building consent and without a licence to do so. "The work Mr Ross was engaged to do required a building consent and is restricted building work, meaning it can only be carried out by a licensed building practitioner (LBP)," he said. Homeowners can check if a builder is a licensed on the public register.
