A Taumarunui woman is representing New Zealand at the Miss Cosmopolitan Beauty pageant in Malaysia. Seymour competed in Miss NZ last year but had to pull out to attend family matters. Afterwards she was asked to compete in Miss Earth this year, in Auckland and won Miss Cosmopolitan NZ. Seymour said the pageant is not about appearances but more about having a good work ethic and a good personality which will get you far.
