What is less well know is the number of partial games he played in and how much game time he lost in those. This is one of Lemieux's two most well-known lost partial games, since it ended his 46-game point streak. In the first period Lemieux appeared to be in pain and "each time left after a short shift in which he showed little mobility." All in all he missed somewhere in the range of 110 to 131 minutes of game time in '89.
