Fashion show. Khanidtha Daroonnate, the creative director of Canitt fashion house, has high regards for Frida Kahlo as a poet even though the Mexican artist is better known as a painter. A feminist icon, Kahlo and her literary works inspired Canitt's spring-summer 2020 collection, named A Poetic Shining, launched recently at The Mustang Blu, a boutique hotel located on Maitri Chit Road, near Chinatown. The signature print is inspired by Magic Dogwood flower, whose bracts are fused together, resulting in a unique display of spirals and shapes. Vinita Tejapaibul, Aniwat Na Nakorn and Tina Derkse.
