Koyilandy municipal chairman K. Sathian dedicated the new facility to women to mark the International Women’s Day observance. He added that the 500-sq ft facility would be run by Kudumbasree workers. A napkin vending machine and a destroyer too will be installed soon near the she-toilet to help travelling women. “The counselling centre too will be managed by Kudumbasree workers, and it will offer service to needy women three times a week,” she added.
