The ideal way to celebrate the birthday of the twenty-fourth and last Tirthankara would be by offering a helping hand to all. The best way to celebrate the day would be by implementing his teachings. Lord Mahavir tells us that the wealth we gather is at times more than we actually need. He tells us to gather everything that you may need but let go of what you don’t, so the needy can benefit. Mahavir Jayanti is a good day to revive and act on all that he has taught us.
