the Folklore Festival held in conjunction with the PJ Fair 2017 was truly a cultural explosion. Held at the Kelana Jaya Lake in Petaling Jaya, it was the fifth fair organised by the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ). The mayor of a town called Miyoshi in the Saitama Prefecture, Japan, was here in conjunction with the PJ Fair 2017. It is my first time in Petaling Jaya as a mayor although I have been to Malaysia a number of times. Hayashi also explained that he would like Miyoshi to have more exchange programmes with cities like Petaling Jaya.
