This was nothing short of a terrorist attack, seeking to evoke hatred and discord in the global community, and serves to highlight the fact that, when it comes terror, there is no religion. Indeed, had the press conference they were coming from not run late, they might have been there at the time of the attack. Additionally, at least three people of Bangladeshi origin have been identified as among the deceased. A terrorist attack such as this not only hurts and threatens Muslims, but the entire world, regardless of background or belief. Our deepest condolences go out to the families and friends of the victims, whose lives have been devastated by this indescribable tragedy.
