In a speech on her behalf by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Abu Jinapor, at this year's United Nations/African Public Service Day on the theme: "Entrenching a Citizen-Centred Service Delivery Culture: Partnering with the Youth for Africa’s Transformation" on Friday, June 23, she indicated the materialisation of NPP’s dreams wouldn't be achievable without a robust public service. According to CLOGSAG Executive Secretary Isaac Bampoe-Addo, civil servants must be regarded as partners of government for integrated development, hence arbitrary recruitments will not help. His comments come on the back of recent dismissals and transfers of some public servants under the Nana Akufo-Addo led New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.
