Credit: GoogleThe other day, we looked at a few coded messages Microsoft appeared to have hidden inside of some Xbox Scorpio teaser trailers it had posted on the Xbox UK Facebook page. The second was much stranger: the numbers and letters "X10S101-317" on stage at what appeared to be a product launch. The implication were this intentional would be clear: the Xbox Scorpio would launch for $399, just a hair under $400. Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter also recently predicted a $399 price point, adding that a price point would probably prompt a retaliatory price cut from the Sony on the PlayStation 4 Pro. Expect big headlines and a scrambling Sony if we get a $399 price point tomorrow, to be sure, as well as a resurgent Microsoft in the fall.
