A Thursday morning snow blitz is forecast to follow today’s 70 degrees


Capital Weather Gang's Jason Samenow tells us how much snow might fall in the region. It won’t last long and may not fall everywhere in the Washington area, but it could be dramatic. In just the few hours leading up to the morning commute, snow may fall heavily and accumulate several inches in Washington’s far northern suburbs. “The farther north you are, the more likely that you receive meaningful snow and have your morning commute impacted. Some snow could linger into the early part of the morning commute, especially along and east of Interstate 95.
