BlizzardMercy has been an issue in Overwatch for a while now, an almost must-pick healer whose regen and team resurrect abilities seemed just too essential to pass over in favor of other supports. She was still given the ability to resurrect players, but as a standard ability on a 30 second cooldown, and only one player at a time. And perhaps the most Blizzard-hair-pulling statistic of all is that her pick rate has been boosted to almost 100% across all levels, when it was hovering around 65-70% before (which Blizzard was trying to lower). There are no stats on this, but some players are reporting that every game they don’t have a Mercy on their team, they’re losing. There is no way on earth they’re going to let a nearly 100% pick rate stand on Mercy for very long at all, and I’m wondering what they’re going to do to actually nerf her this time.
