AdvertisementEvery time it happens, I groan and ask my husband, “Is that Mike?” even though I already know it is. My husband has always thought Mike is hilarious ― and he is, but still, it’s weird. I had never really wanted fame ― not since I was in middle school, anyhow. And even then, I’m not sure I really wanted it. What I really wanted was to teach and write.
