Most recently, the tragic death of a Green party candidate, Josh Underhay, has cast a pall over the campaign. “(Underhay) was a star candidate for the Green Party and very well-liked and very well-respected,” Desserud said. In an election that is far from certain, it may not be worth the risk, McKenna said.
