In the past year alone we’ve seen the worldwide release of Pokémon GO, Pokémon Duel, Magikarp Jump and now a fourth game is coming to join the others. It’s called Pokéland, and it looks to be an adaptation of the often-overlooked Wii game, Pokémon Rumble. The game did spawn several sequels, Pokémon Rumble Blast, Pokémon Rumble U and Pokémon Rumble World, but the fact that you may never have heard of any of them should indicate how much of an impact they made across the Wii, Wii U and 3DS. A real Pokémon game. So far, the best Pokémon game for mobile was not made by The Pokémon Company (GO was made by Niantic), and Pokémon Rumble’s history isn’t exactly confidence-inspiring.
