A Christmas dish 20 years in the making


But I suspect nobody made a dish as delicious as the one I concocted last week. It's been in my recipe book for about 20 years and its name was Revenge. My friend Yvee and her wife, Lee, came to Christchurch to help me around the house. Knowing this, and with Yvee being a nurse, I opened my little box of medications and popped out a couple of Panadol. But I think what I've learned is that revenge really is a dish best served cold on a hot summer's day.\
