A Toronto Blue Jays fan has won a life-changing prize — if they can be found, that is. The Jays Care Foundation, which runs the team’s 50/50 prize draws, is looking for the winner of the $2.9 million prize. Jays’ fans have contributed to massive 50/50 jackpots in the past, including some of the largest in Major League Baseball (MLB) history. Last fall, a Kitchener man took home a $3.9 million prize — the largest 50/50 jackpot total in MLB history, the foundation said. That prize broke the Jays’ previous record of $1.96 million in 2021.
