A 4-year-old dies and seven others hospitalized after eating toxic githeri in KisiiA family in Kisii is in agony after a 4-year-old child, Wylikster Nyanchama died and seven other children were hospitalised after they had allegedly consumed poisonous food-githeri at Boronyi sub-location on Monday. The victims who are children from one family and range between 4-23 years are said to have consumed the poisonous Githeri which they had eaten the previous day for lunch. The local chief Mr Naftal Teya told the Nation at the scene that the deceased, succumbed after her situation got worse.
