A total of 91 illegal immigrants of Ethiopian origin on Sunday broke lose from a private house in Kitengela, Kajiado county. Independent sources divulged to the Star that the men were allegedly brought into the house in November 2021. Police are still processing the immigrants, some who were half naked, at Milimani police post and Kitengela police station. Sources said the foreigners claimed they were forced to break lose due to mistreatment by the person who brought and hid them in the house. It is suspected that seven other illegal immigrants of Ethiopian origin arrested at Kasuitu slum in Athi River, Machakos county on Sunday were part of the group.
