The Kaduna State chapter of the All Progressives Congress on Friday said no fewer than 905 aspirants had picked nomination forms for the party’s tickets to contest the forthcoming local government election. The State Independent Electoral Commission had fixed June 5 for the LG polls. The APC opened the sale of nomination forms on April 2, with local government chairmanship aspirants paying N1.1m and the councillorship aspirants paying N310,000. Wusono , however, said the APC expected more than 90 per cent victory at the polls going by the performance of the party in the state. He added, “The vice chairman of Kaduna North LG is the only one aspiring to contest against his chairman.
