A nine-year-old boy was killed in a farming accident east of Calgary on Monday. RCMP say the child was a passenger on a tractor on a Hutterite colony near Hussar. The child fell off and was run over by the tractor, RCMP said. Hussar is located approximately 100 kilometres east of Calgary in Wheatland County. In the latest 10-year reporting period, from 2003 to 2012, Canadian Agricultural Injury Reporting data shows there was an average of 84 agriculture-related deaths in the country per year.
