CAMP MELCHOR DELA CRUZ, Gamu, Isabela – Nine people on Saturday (Sept. 17) were hurt, among them a woman with a broken spinal column, after their jeepney crashed in the Alicia-San Mateo road in Alicia town. The jeep’s passengers were Praise of God Church youth members. They were brought to the Integrated Hospital of San Mateo, Isabela while Jessiebeth Mesa, who sustained the spinal injury, was transferred to a private hospital. Pastor Gregorio Oliveros said they were on their way to attend a gathering in Maddela, Quirino when the jeepney apparently had mechanical difficulties and crashed onto the road shoulder.
