The Ministry of Health has confirmed 870 new cases of coronavirus in the country in the last 24 hours. Health CS Mutahi Kagwe said in a statement on Saturday that the new cases were picked from a sample size of 6,309. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 112,805. The CS said that 117 more people have recovered from the virus, 75 from various health facilities while 42 are from the home based and isolation care. A total of 650 patients are currently admitted in various health facilities countrywide, while 1,929 patients are on Home Based Isolation and Care.
