Police on Vancouver Island say an 81-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder and attempted murder after a shooting at a Port Alberni, B.C., trailer park on Friday night. Mounties say Port Alberni RCMP were called to the scene of a reported shooting, along the 2900 block of Alberni Highway 4, around 9 p.m. on Friday. RCMP says 81-year-old Herbert Crowley, from Port Alberni, has been charged with second-degree murder and attempted murder. Police say they believe the shooting was an isolated incident between people who know each other, and Sgt. Jason Kerr with the major crimes unit says police "worked tirelessly" to investigate and bring charges in the case.
