The incident took place at 10:15am on SundayAn eight-year-old boy has been killed after a pickup-van, reportedly owned by Milk Vita, ran over him in front of Mirpur Commerce College in Dhaka. The incident took place around 10:15am on Sunday. The victim, Hafiz, lived with his mother at Jhilpar slum area. Following the mishap, locals from Jhilpar slum began protesting on the roads and barred traffic movement for about an hour. The body of the deceased has been sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College morgue for an autopsy, the OC added.
