8 ruling party activists sued in Natore over extortion, torture

Confirming the matter, OC of Natore police station Md Mansur Rahman said that they had already arrested two accused in this case. The arrestees are Ekram Hossain alias Sumon, 35, from Nabinagar village of the sadar upazila, and Md Abir Hossain, 26, of the town. Businessman Abdus Salam said that he had been in a dispute with Sumon over business matters since Friday. Ruhul Amin Biplob, acting general secretary of the district unit Jubo League, described it as a brutal incident.
