The police said that the incident took place on Sunday and the baby suffered severe injuries to her vital organs. The parents of the victim were away at work and had left the baby and her two-year-old sister at home with family members, said the police. The victim’s family lives on the first floor while the other family members live on the ground floor. Later, when the child’s mother returned home, she found the baby lying in a pool of blood.
