Eight persons were killed and 20 others injured today when the bus they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge in Tiuni area in Dehradun. The private bus fell into a 200-metre deep gorge near Daragarh, killing six persons on the spot and leaving around 22 others injured out of which two succumbed to injuries at Tiuni hospital, Chakrata Police station in-charge Arvind Kumar said. The bus was on its way from Tiuni to Vikasnagar when the incident occurred, the official said.
