Over 75,000 teaching jobs in public schools are available this school year, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said on Sunday. Roque said the Department of Budget and Management had approved 75,242 teaching positions in public schools for school year 2018 to 2019. The bulk of these jobs was for 40,642 Teacher I positions for kindergarten and elementary levels, he said.
