MANILA, Philippines — Seventy more patients were able to recover from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) as the total number of cases in the country soared to 7,579 on Sunday, April 26. The DOH also recorded 285 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country as of Sunday. Meanwhile, seven patients succumbed to COVID-19, raising the country’s death toll to 501.
