The joint raid was conducted by the Detective Branch (DB) and Fatullah Police for one and a half hours from 8:30pm to 10pm on Monday night. During the raid, 81 cartons of foreign beer with 23 cans in each, and four cartons of foreign wine _ each containing 10 bottles, were seized. He added that the drive was led by Additional Superintendent of Police (DB) Subas Chandra and directed by Superintendent of Police (SP) Mohammad Harun-Or-Rashid. SP Harun said 70 people involved with the incident were detained during the raid at Mary Anderson.
