The matter came to light when her mother filed a case with the Bagerhat Model police station on Thursday night. The accused Enam Sheikh, 22, is the son of Malek Sheikh, a grocery shop owner of Mulghar village in Bishnupur union of Bagerhat Sadar upazila. Bagerhat Model police station OC (Investigation) Pannu Miya said police are trying to arrest the accused. He also said that the girl will be sent to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital for medical attention.
