Jimmie Johnson is adding Coke and COTA to his NASCAR schedule. “It’s been on my bucket list to drive at COTA,” Johnson said. Much like Daytona this season, Johnson was in position late to race for a top-10 finish until he triggered a wreck and faded to 28th. He said he’d like to drive in about 10 races per NASCAR season but didn’t think he’d hit that goal in 2023. “The excitement in and around the race team opened up many doors at a time where we weren’t sure we could get any meetings,” Johnson said.
