The students were arrested by some staff of the school led by the Headmaster at about 2am on Tuesday June 27, 2017 in a rented room with most of them naked following a tip off. The authorities found in the room, mattresses and other items these students used for their alleged immoral acts. Residents of Damongo have however blamed the authorities of the school for parading the students on the principal streets of the town as if they were criminals. They were again paraded on the main streets of Damongo and finally left at the main lorry park by some members of staff of the school. Many people have said the school authorities went beyond bounds in the manner they treated the students even though they agree that the school has the right to discipline its student.
