The majority of the shootings were targeted, with one instance confirmed by police to be linked to Lower Mainland gang conflict. Friday, September 18The violence continued through Thursday night and into the early morning hours in the Lower Mainland, when, around 5 a.m., Langley RCMP were called to the area of 212 Street and 42 Avenue. "We have no information or evidence to link it to any of the other recent incidents around the Lower Mainland or to a specific gang conflict," said Corporal Craig van Herk, Langley RCMP.
