Seven people were injured in a crash on the QEW east of Cawthra Road in Mississauga on Saturday night. Two women who appear to be in their 20s were rushed to St. Michael's Hospital in critical condition, Steve Walker, superintendent of Peel Regional Paramedic Services, said Sunday. Walker said paramedics were called to the scene just after 10 p.m. on Saturday. A man suffered serious injuries and four others suffered minor injuries. The OPP said on-ramps and the eastbound QEW, which were are closed at Cawthra Road for hours, are now open.
